Slovakia says to launch reverse gas supplies to Ukraine on Mar 1

MOSCOW, Feb 28 (PRIME) – Gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine by virtual reverse will begin on March 1, according to a statement of Slovakian operator Eustream on Friday.

“Operator of Ukrainian Gas Transport System and Eustream a.s. are launching a virtual reverse on commission point Velke Kapusany – Uzhgorod from March 1, 2020,” the statement read.

The supplies amount to 10 million cubic meters per day. The companies can agree to increase the shipments if the market is interested.
